OK this guy doesnt understand sockets. Brherper, your processor hads 478 pins, it WAS a great socket, but in my opinion outdated.
If your going to upgrade to the really good pentiums or Pentium Ds, you need to go to the 775 socket.

Yet you guys are telling him to put a pentium d into a 478 board?

More or less, you can keep your AGP card, but you really SHOULD upgarde to DDR2 if you want to go with a 775 processor.

Im going to look for good mobos now.
Look Here for a good list. For $150 you can get a decent mobo to last you another year and a Pentium D 805. and you will see a huge improvment. BTW change how the list is sorted to "Best Rating"
