290 Tri-fire PSU help.

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I ordered 3 XFX 290's yesterday for some Trifire loving as I didn't fancy going for 7990 Quadfire. Anyway, I have an EVGA 1000w P2 Platinum psu currently, will this be enough juice to provide for them even when potentially unlocked to 290x or overclocked.

I think I know the answer but wanted to confirm as If not I've got my trigger on buy for an EVGA 1300w PSU.

Cheers

Even if you don't technically need it, if I was spending that much money I would pay for the overhead anyways. I'd say shoot.
