SSD Image Backup?

Thread Starter
I am going to soon make the switch to an SSD boot drive...finally to let my 8350 @ 4.9ghz shine. I work on a lot of important projects, and even though important data will be stored on (my now main drive) a 2TB Seagate HDD. I have another 640gb HDD lying around that I intend to use for image backups of my 128gb SSD (Samsung 840 pro, when I get it).

Any reliable software you recommend to image the drive so if it fails, I can buy another and ghost the image onto it? (I can't really afford a RAID 1 config)

Acronis True Image.

I've had excellent luck with Macrium Reflect. The free version will do what you want. You really don't want to depend on RAID 1 for a backup. Any errors on the first drive will show up in the mirror. Here is a great tutorial for using Macrium Reflect free.
