New build problem

Just finished a new build today that went really well apart from it not working.rolleyes.gif

The problem..I switch it on then after about 7 seconds the monitor switches off and goes into stand by mode but the pc keeps running.

Could it be my keyboard.?..i have a Razer Tarantula that`s a pain to set up.If i pressed Delete to go to the Bios but the Keyboard was not working probably so the key press was not registered could that send the monitor to stand by.?

I have tested the graphics cards with the new build both with an HDMI cable as well as a DVI cable, still a problem. However i tested the monitor and both cards on another pc and they work fine.

So i suppose the question is.. what else could turn the monitor off to stand by while keeping the pc running.?

As i say this is a totally new build..i don`t even have windows installed yet.

Set up

4770k

Asus formula vi

2 Samsung 840 pros

Evga 1000 P2 Power Supply

Dominator Platinum 16gb

Nzxt Kraken X60

MSI Gtx 770

Any help would be appreciated.

Haven`t thought of that.thumb.gif

The keyboard is connect by two usb`s so i could take either out and give it a whirl.

Thanks.smile.gif

Found out what the issue is and thought i would post here as it may help somebody else.

Turns out it was the top PCIE slot..swapped the card to a different slot and it went to Bios.

So if your getting error code B2 then check the PCIE slot..

cheers.
