AMD Opteron 175 @ 1,3V / 1,35V ?

the tittle says it all,

currently running at: 1,55 (standard voltage by the mobo, haven't changed anything yet)

It should be running at around 1.4v on stock. You put this in your pc as an upgrade? Maybe setting it auto to 1.4v or try a cmos clear. Maybe a updated bios flash?

thinking of changing it manually, and this is a complete new rig...

EDIT: mobo was set on CPU overvoltage

the voltage is normal now

Yeah, you're gonna want to look at the AMD specs for stuff like that, not wiki. That could be anyones BS.

You have the A8N32 though, so I will advise you to set the cpu overvolt to enable. As this board has 8 phase power but only 4 phases are used if you don't enable the overvolt.
Now, the overvolt will give you 0.156v over what you set in bios. So at what the board "autos" to for the optys, 1.35-1.4v usually, you will get 1.55+.
What you want to do is come out with the vcore on the low end of the AMD spec, 1.3v. Actually setting it slightly lower is a good practice also. When I first installed my 165 I set it to 1.27v.
With the overvolt on you will have to lower the vcore manually to somewhere in the area of 1.14v, if you want to hit the stock of 1.3v total.
I've been running a 165 at 3ghz on the A8N32 for 9 months now, 24/7 folding both cores. Trust me, this will work for you.

thanks, i will keep that in mind... but first solve my temperature of my cpu

ok i've done what you said...

i've set the cpu overvoltage on enable and reduced the vcore manualy to 1.225 and my rig boots up just normal. only cpu-z says 1.150V / 1.376V....

so it switches each secs on those 2 readings
