Adding Extra 1TB HDD

Thread Starter
So I am looking at this HDD since my 1TB F3 is reaching its limit. I got a $10 off coupon and a $10 gift card from TigerDirect so it should come to $20 after the rebate.

My questions are this. I am a noob on this.

Is this drive good any reviews from OCN peps? Also can it be put in RAID with my old Sammy Spinpoint F3?

I actually just bought that drive myself, So i cant comment on very much on how reliable it is yet, But but it has decent read/writes.

I know next to nothing about RAID, as well. :o

It's best to have identical drives in a RAID setup.

You could use something like Drive Bender to pool your storage instead. It works very well on my 24TB NAS.
