is there any way to OC my card, cause any thing i try makes my screen go blank. if theres a way i want to be able to safly OC my card, dont need a huge boost.

Mine does the same. It's a common problem with 1950Pro's. They're already clocked to their limit.

Its not that there clocked to the limit there just really isnt a whole lot of software to support them. However I think the new AtiTool 0.26 (I think thats the new one) supports the card there is also a patch mentioned in the section of the site.

ok. any idea what my textures problem could be? cause its kind of annoying that x1950 pro texture quality are lower then my x800 pro.

if you go to the ATI Tools website, it specifically says it DOES NOT support the overclocking of 1950pro. What about this patch your speaking of?

looks like i wont be OCing but i need to find out why my graphics arent at its best.

I used a programmed called winclk, think it was ati winclk or something.
It worked better then the patched ati tool did.

I was able to oc a bit, raised the memory by 100mhz.
Couldnt seem to raise the gpu's clock much.

I did get a little increase in 3dmark06, not much.

I have a stock hs on my card, but it's one that sandwitches the board betwen 2 big copper sheets (fan on the cpu side).

I got the tools from another thread on this site, another x1950 thread.
