just sold my X1

too big and after the news of DR3/RYSE PC ports i felt betrayed

i might buy it again only if they made a slimmer hardware
post #584 of 1750
hm. interesting to see what ticks people off.

I consider PC and Xbox one platform, all under MS, so porting to PC when it was an Xbox exclusive doesn't mean anything to me. It's all the same.

Meh.

Nah, it's really not. A lot of simple-minded console kiddies don't realize the fact that the extra volume allows MS to put a larger heatsink and larger fan in it. Which makes it much more quiet (compared to, for example, my PS4's "dustbuster") and (theoretically) last much longer (fan spinning at lower RPMs = less frictional wear) wink.gif

I honestly wish my PS4 would be larger than it is now (to allow for better cooling) - I don't live in a "pod" so there's plenty of space on my TV stand for everything and I don't need to carry the consoles to anywhere else.

My PS4 is quiet when playing movies but it does get loud when playing any game. Which is somewhat annoying during the night time because I have to keep sound volumes low and I really dislike using headphones at home wink.gif

I've noticed that my Xbox randomly looses Internet connection even though everything else in my house doesn't.
I'll be in the middle of a game n it'll just drop out and 10 seconds later it connects. It's really starting to pee me off. Anyone else getting this?

I don't get that, but I do have to reset the Xbox every couple of weeks. After awhile the connect stops responding to voice commands, so I haveto hold down the power button to make it actually power down instead of he power save "off".

is it losing network connectivity or internet connectivity?

Yesterday (and maybe today) there were some DDOS attacks on both XLive and PSN. If this has been a prolonged experience of yours, then I'd consider what you're using to connect to your network. Wireless? Wired? Proximity to the WIFI router?
