Well I did flash it to the GHz Bios anyway that increased the stock clock speed and voltage slightly. I probably won't make any further changes to it now until I get a better cooler. redface.gif

In order to test multiple cards, do I just put them in the computer and run the hawaii info tool after running the memory finder? Do I need to delete anything in between cards? Thanks everyone.

i think that will. they are still coming out with unlockables. Save the bios before flashing.

that has 1040MHz already, right? if so, that is faster than a reference 290X. it only takes a 50MHz oc.

Yes, it's clocked at 1040 Mhz. Think it is rarely the Gigabyte unlockable.

Did she just received as an exchange from the online store, because my Asus always had black screens.
Very nice if it is unlockable

not just Gigabyte. it is rare for non-reference 290s to unlock. but wait, the result of the test is not guaranteed. also, there are risks involved in flashing cards. risks you should be willing to take. just save the original bios prior to flashing.

Gigabyte has installed a lock when I use the bios it is then still a flashe 290s though 2816 shaders are active. The Reboot the computer then also no longer works.
