for Q -> 1900 FTW....

if you are on a budget though...the 7900gs can easily be volt modded to achieve clocks in the low 700mhz range, which is comprable to a 7900GTX. Both cards typically carry the same type memory also, giving generally similar results for mem clocks.

The 7900GS will beat the x1900GT when both cards are overclocked.

yea sora showed me a link earlier that showed the 7900GS competing with the x1950 pro. Its only logical to me that by those tests, the 7900gs would crush the x1900GT.

Then again, i don't know the specifics of the brands, which might make a difference.

Uou could if you want but the 7900GS will be pretty much a good bit more powerful. Worth the extra 20 bucks
post #9 of 36
x1900GT is at a dead end with overclocking at 570/2000.

I'm going to voltmod it when i get a Ink pen, but the x1900GT rev2 sucks, if you can, Find the Rev1 or go for the x1950pro, it's $20 more.
