Always look into how the PSU you want to buy really is who made and how good it is

Brand names means nothing when they dont make the units they sell

More then once have i made the mistake of buying by brand and getting a turd

I verify everything, push the button, still nothing...
Well I was pushing the "restart" button. The "start" button was just next to it wink.gif

when housing many hard drives, keep note of which partitions are which by size as labels aren't always available... so that you don't delete your operating system when trying to format another drive... doh.gif

I bought my PSU when i had first assembled my system, and went by the bigger number better thought process. Ended up blowing my VGA card and my H100i, only to replace it with a more expensive but better model.
In for sure

Lesson learned: Don't put the PSU in 120v on Australia's 240v... bad things will happen tongue.gif

In, thanks!

Still waiting to build my first PC!

Don't forget me! smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Lesson learned - always take a pic/note which wires are connected where, as I learnt it the difficult way while cleaning my old PC for the first time in my life... thumb.gif
