Graphics card is touching PSU

Thread Starter
Quick question, putting a computer for a friend with the parts he has.
Case is pretty small, graphic card is touching the power supply.
Here is a crappy picture i took with my phone.

Is this safe to turn on? I am a bit worried that the graphics card will short out because it is touching metal. Can i put Some of the antistatic paper in between to make sure there inst nay direct contact?

Thanks in advance to any answers.

Yes the GPU will short out don't turn on that PC.
Antistatic will help but the best plan is to extend some of the holes if possible to move the PSU up a little. You can also add two washers on the bottom side to tilt the PSU.

Put a piece of cardboard from a box between the card & psu. I believe anti static bags are actually conductive, so it probably wouldn't be good to use one of those...

Well i can't put anything to try to tilt the PSU upwards, without a bit of modding with cardboard. Would to work to put a bit of cardboard in between the GPU and PSU to stop contact.

Using the 'Place cardboard under the psu' trick, i have manged to make some space. The GPU isnt in any direct contact any more to the PSU. But, if you look in the picture i took, at the back there there is 4 solder points that are quite close, but not in direct contact. Do you guys think this is safe now? I don't want to turn it on and screw it up :S.
