Cooling question for i7-4770k

Hey guys, new user here.

I took advantage of Microcenter's recent $200 i7 sale to put together a new PC. I wound up going with a Rosewill Blackhawk mid tower and an Asus Z87-A motherboard.

I'd intended to overlcock, so I ordered an H90 cooler when it was on sale at amazon a few days ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the H90's radiator to fit in the case, so I'm stuck with the stock cooler.

I probably should have signed up to get recommendations before buying rather than after so I could have avoided this... but basically I'm looking for the best cooling option that will fit in my case. I'm thinking that's probably an air cooler, since I don't think there's clearance for even a 240mm radiator, and I guess the 120mm radiator CLCs aren't any better than air. I have no interest in swapping out my case/motherboard just because of the hassle involved, but I'd still like to OC as much as the CPU will let me. Do you guys have any recommendations for what kind of cooler I should be considering?

tl;dr: I'm looking for a good (probably air, but open to suggestions) LGA1150 cooler that'll fit in my case (Rosewill Blackhawk).

Thanks!

I assume that you have looked into all of the AIO coolers. I am not a big fan of air cooling especially for the Haswell after reading plenty of comments of bad temps and only reaching an overclock of an average around 4.5-4.6 ghz. You might be limited in your wants in regards to your current setup and achieving your desired overclock. Also, I am assuming your not planning on delidding your chip. I know you dont want to......but a new case might be your best option in the end.......Good Luck.

I haven't looked into all of the AIO coolers, I just read in a multiple places that they aren't an improvement over a good HSF if you can't get a radiator larger than 120mm.

OCing was kind of an afterthought for me. I decided to go for it on a whim since I saw the h90 on sale. It's not the end of the day if I can't get the absolute best performance out of the chip as possible, but I'd still like to make a more informed purchase when I pick up a new cooler. I just want to get a feel for whether there is a 120mm AIO CLC out there that's worth buying, and if there's not, maybe get a couple of recommendations on outstanding aftermarket HSF.
