I bought a package a while ago. I was thinking about upgrading my 315p to the 350r with LTI but then I realized why am I spending more money on this when I can earn it in-game?

I have to admit though crowdfunding is a great way to get a game started I am starting to see problems with my interests in games like this. Now, Star Citizen DOES look awesome. But we're going to be seeing it and playing it in bits and pieces until release. The anticipation goes away that way and I lose interest in it. People who are fully devoted to it get a MASSIVE head start and with all the money some people are throwing at it they get leaps and bounds ahead of others who will need to spend time working towards their goals.

This isn't meant to be a tirade about kickstarter and crowdfunding, but I did back Planetary Annihilation and man, am I disappointed. I have played it twice since it was released day one Alpha and I'm just not happy with the direction they're going.

The delivery of games has changed so much in the past five years. I really sort of wish we'd get back to the "no playing until it's released" method. Sorry for the rant. I am excited to see how Star Citizen goes.

They're 20% to $31,000,000 now thumb.gif
Planned upgrades for this game are an 8-core haswell E, another 120GB SSD purely for star citizen, another 780Ti and an oculus rift (or if they don't live up to hype a track IR).

Also does anybody know when ship upgrades will get put in place? I purchased an upgrade for my 300i to a 325A but the ship in the hangar doesn't show it...

Nah, I've done that stuff as well. That's using built in Cryengine flight mechanics, not the Star Citizen custom physics engine.

The ship upgrades should be able to be applied very soon. They said they were waiting to upgrade the website until the Anniversary Sale was over to prevent any issues. The new site will allow upgrades to be applied.
