By that logic, Atlus hasn't been Atlus since 2006 since they were purchased by Index. Sega's holding company normally gives their acquired subsidaries near-unlimited resources and creative control so long as they can turn a profit. Atlus has a small but very loyal fanbase, kinda like a micro-Nintendo, so they'll consistently generate low but reliable levels of profit.

In short, expect business as usual re: Atlus's games.
