Looking for a steering wheel

Thread Starter
In light of the Next-Gen consoles being released, I'd like to jump on some of the newer driving sims, but on the PC. I'm a really big fan of the DiRT series, and played the heck out of them back in the day. Unfortunately, when I was away one evening, my mother was cleaning up and thought that no one used the steering wheel that I had, and tossed it in the trash.
^I'm not even lying, it was under my computer desk in our rec room, I came home, and it was gone.

I've been playing FPS games for the past year or so, but I'm liking the look of Need For Speed Shift 2, it's 75% off in the steam store, so...I pretty much HAD to buy it. However, I need a steering wheel to play it, as well as the other games I'm interested in, can you guys recommend me something that's ~$100? It also has to fit on my computer table. I've attached a picture, where I have my Nexus 7 there as a point of reference.

I was looking at this: http://gaming-steering-wheel-review.toptenreviews.com/rgt-force-feedback-pro-clutch-edition-review.html
It looks like it was used here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SwjaRTBTdg

However, if you guys know of something that performs well with a plethora of games, I'm all ears.
Thanks

(All I need is an Eyefinity array)

EDIT: I live in Canada, so shipping/handling might be an issue coming from the States.

You may want to try a Logitech G25 , maybe able to pick one up on e-bay from Canada.

G27 is the newer model but a bit more that the 100.00 mark.

I am the same general area as you, I have a old MOMO force feedback wheeel you can have for free.

Looks like a solid wheel. A little on the expensive side though. Is there anything that is closer to a hundred bucks that you know of?

Sorry, none I can think of in that price range besides the one you linked.

As said I do have a MOMO force feedback collecting dust. ( I use a G25 )

Currently down in the states for some turkey. When I get back I can pm you and you can have the Momo. Almost new condition.

I am near Milton. it's up to you. thumb.gif

$100 won't get you too much, some of the sim racing gear is ridiculously priced.

That guy's pretty generous to give you a free Momo, those were generally the ~$100 option.

That'd be swell. Shoot me a PM and I'd be interested in working something out
