680i for life!
I am currently running a P5B. I just did a little research and found out that Intel Chipsets do not offer 1T. However, 2T on Intel is just as fast as 1T on 680i.

Man, I really want a 680i that kills memory, cooks my breakfast, destroys my data, doesn't work in SLI, and can't go past 450Mhz FSB.

Easy turbo...

Anyway, I'd like to see how the dominators would run on 1T.

Me too. I don't know if they could do 5-5-5-10 1T @ 1260 @ 2.2V though. Maybe on 5-5-5-15 and a higher volt.

So wait, is 1T possible on my p5b or not? With all this talk I may change from ddr2-1167 at 5-5-5-10 to ddr2-778 at 3-3-3-9.

Again Drax, that ram is OMG fast. Those ramsinks must get hot enough to make you some toast.

I don't know about 1T on your P5B. Sorry.

I can go higher in speed, I just don't want to risk it without my cute little dominator fan to keep me someone mentally and thermally stable at 1300mhz.

See, in this thread you were comparing your 2T speeds to his 1T speeds.

Right now, we don't know which one is better because you two didn't use the same T commands.

Wouldn't you find it really hard to believe that it took 2.4V to achieve DDR2-1112 @ 5-5-5-10 and it only took you 2.2V to achieve DDR2-1260 @ 5-5-5-10?

The first thing that would click in my mind would be that there's something wrong with the test setup. Those two setups are different. You need to show your 1T performance to say that Dominators > Team.

Well if you do the simple math with CAS Latency you will find that DDR2-800 @ 3-3-3-6 is better than DDR2-1200 @ 5-5-5-10.

800 divided by 3 is 266.66.
1200 divided by 5 is 240.

On his CPUZ it doesn't show 1T. Maybe I am missing something?

Also, is it really that big of a difference between 2T and 1T? Wouldn't the extra 147MHz be faster?

Aaaag so that means that theoretically I have to hit 1350Mhz to be faster than 3-3-3-9 ddr2-800?
