BFG 8800 GTX OC question

Hey guys


I used rivatuner to OC my BFG 8800 GTX
from the stock 576 900 to 618 975

however the core clock stays at 576 an will not go higher (am i out of power?) the 900 Memory clock MHZ does increase to 975 properly


3dmark06 is now at 11803 ( trying to get to 1200 )

Please help

well i finnaly got the GPU up to 622/1000



Had to remove the rivatuner and use the nvidia ntune



3dmark06 is now up to 11853 and a steady stable OC using prime for 5 hrs

Try the nVteak and what drivers are you using?

And over 10K with the CPU at stock? Any futuremark links? SSs?

I'm debating whether or not to order an 8800 GTX.

You should use ATI to scan for artifacts while you are OC'ing. I use it to OC too.

one question why the f**k are you ocing that card? its the fastest thing on the market if you oc it your not going to see any difference in performace wile (for and example) playing BF2142 so why are you bothering just so you can get 500 points in a benchmark its just stupid

Im ocing it cause there built to do just that...so i am !
