Bad stick of ram or motherboard?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.


So I just got done with building my computer and have had some problems..

My build is

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 330R
PSU: Corsair CX 750
MB: Asus z87 Plus
CPU: i5-3570
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x4
SSD: Force Series GT 120gb


when ever i go to power up the computer it shows no signal to my monitor. monitor just stays in standby

all fans, lights are on.

no for some reason i do not have a speaker for my mb it did not come with one mad.gif

idk what it could be anything will help biggrin.gif

Try one stick of ram at a time. thumb.gif
