How to make DIY heatsink bolt-on mounting?

Thread Starter
I have Intel stock copper heatsink but it has no push pin, so I only place them without mounting (because my computer was open bench, not in the case).

But, the consequences is more heat than with mounting. I want to make bolt-on heatsink mounting to reduce temperature while it's painful but it's more durable than bolt-on.

Can someone help me to make that? How much size of the LGA 775 cooler mounting hole?

Why don't you buy a cheapo aftermarket cooler? most of them will easily outperform the stock intel cooler while being quieter.

Why you ask this when I don't have any money? I need this for temporary time until I can get them

I tried this already, but it works perfectly while it's painful after do this. The CPU cooler now's feel stiffer, thanks for your suggestion! smile.gif
