Now im not really a LG fan per say. I only buy Samsung stuff, but the galaxy S4 well everyone has.. Also was looking at the htc one.. only had problems with them before... Id go with moto since thats the only phone's iv ever used that always worked and worked well, but non have the quad cores.. I know the quads are overkill and that what people said about he dual core's. Im glad i got a dual core its lasted me 2 years. Alas my phone is dying though.. Locking up with super freezes and this and that.. Nothing works to keep her going..

Anyways, anyone have this phone, or know of someone that does. How do you/they like it. Some of the things you love or hate about it... I also looked to see whats "new and coming" in the next few months and there is nothing that makes me want to wait. Well other then the LG G Flex ($1000 is to much for me to pay for a phone) and the samsung round. Which the samsung would prolly be just way way to big.. Love the look of the flex though, smexy yes! I think thats why im really leaning towards the G2... Anyways let me know what ya'll think.

I don’t own one but got a chance to play with it at the store. What I can say is that the buttons on the back seems to be difficult to use but not it a sense that its uncomfortable. I like how good the screen display is and how thin the side bezels are. Spec wise it runs on par with most flagship phones that use the Snapdragon 800. One of its features that I like is the OIS on the camera and the one were you only need to tap on the screen to open it. The thing that I wish it had was a SD card slot. With the 32GB model you get only like 21ish free space left.

I’m currently using the Note 2 and given a chance to change, I’ll go with this phone. Second choice would be the Nexus 5 though its battery capacity is something that I think will not last a day for me.

I’ll skip the Note 3 here as I had enough of the touchwiz interface, bloatware and their knox feature.

If you want a "normal sized" smartphone then the LG G2 is the best smartphone to get right now. 5.2 inch IPS display, razor thin bezel and 13MP OIS camera. Also it's powered by the Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM and a decent battery.

The only smartphone that really beats it right now is the Galaxy Note 3. But it really depends on the person. If you have smaller hands, then get the LG G2. If you've got medium or larger hands and want the best functionality get the Galaxy Note 3.

The Galaxy Note 3 is hands down the best smartphone of 2013 and early/mid 2014. This is because the Galaxy Note 3 is one generation ahead of other smartphones in terms of the camera, RAM specs and software capabilities. No other smartphone has 4K video recording, new LPDDR3 RAM tech (3GB RAM at that), USB 3.0, advanced stylus tech and the functionality that comes with the S-Pen (i.e. Air View). Air Command is extremely useful for multitasking and really the Galaxy Note 3 is the only true multitasking smartphone out there. Other smartphones only run more than 1 applications at the same time. The Galaxy Note 3 is able to show these applications simultaneously on the same viewing point. It's just a whole different experience at a whole different level.

Thanks guys. REP+ for both of you's.. The note is just to big for my pocket and i think to big to be holding up to my face while talking... lol, gonna talk to someone at verizon soon.. I dont want to loose my unlimited data.. Thats the only thing that sucks, if i switch my data plan gets cut off.. I have a buddy that got offered 6gig's a month for the same price as 2. So i might see if i can do that. If i can its a go. Iv never used over 5.5g's and thats streaming music ALL THE TIME. youtubing and watching a movie every once in a great while... Thanks again guys. I thought this phone looked pretty cool, or the specs anyways.

I have heard it's the best battery life phone on the market right now out of all androids, and the screen is fantastic.

Alternatively:

BB z30
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 75
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 75
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v80), quality = 75

New OS update makes it insane workhorse in term of comms and bat life
Incredible clarity of mic, speaker and speakerphone
Double antenna measured to be much better than GS4 and have much lower drop call rate
Runs android apk files

Jolla

Extremely unique and intuitive UI, runs android apps

Well, if you want to wear a blingy clock chain around your neck and carry a boombox sized phone around, then the Note 3 is for you.

If you're a normal person, the LG G2 or Nexus 5 is a great phone.
