XSPC D5 Photon 240 - mounting. - Page 2

Are you using hdd cage?

In initial positioning, you can mount it onside, maybe iff not working you can make a custom bracket for it... just see if not block hdd cage going in/out (when mount/unmount it).

my calculation you can make about 2~5mm stand off bracket to get this job done.

from the side it will be something like this

o = that''s place you will mount the plate or with out plate
with this you will not obstacle mounting hdd cage

or using L bracket, make custom "U"/"O" bracket for it or just plate to make gripping base to resevoir plate, yeah little mod it but not to cutting your case thumb.gif

PS: i'm sorry the pic ussualy get straight line in middle when i'm write this. rolleyes.gif

Great thanks.

Yea I would normaly wait but the person in question will likely be on holiday during the period of time ill be building the rig (though i dont know for sure, it is usualy the case though), so wont have access to the machines.

I' ll see what he says about availability, it wont cost anything so ... ..

Anyway thanks again , much appreciated.

EDIT @ Loonies.

The HDD cages will be removed to fit a 240x80 Monsta rad with push pull fans, there is no room what so ever smile.gif

No room. I have GTX 780 Classified, its a oversized custom PCB, much bigger than ur average sized GPU.
The only place to put a Tube res is where iv pointed out, and that only just fits due to the GPU length and the thick rad im gunna use in the front.

Thanks for the sugestion though.
