Really no more complicating than a game console.

Also keep in mind that MOST people own PC's anyways so it's not like it's some unknown mystery territory here bro.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. I am the only PC Gamer at my place of employment. The other 20 employees are ALL console owners. When the crappy 7 year old Dells BSOD every morning all they can do is stand there and look at each other clueless as to what they should do. It's experiences such as those that will keep the average console gamer from ever coming over to the better platform. PCMR FTW!

Oh really? So how did I become a PC gamer after being consoles only most of my life? rolleyes.gif

Well, I'm not sure about it making PC gaming more mainstream, but I will be curious to see what the AMD vs. Nvidia GFX performance charts look like for games releasing later next year. Have both consoles running off of AMD chips could make things interesting.

Games will be more optimized for AMD hardware, we'll see the bug problems with NVIDIA cards previously associated with AMD cards. I think AMD has a nice chance to checkmate Intel's "cripple AMD" function by having it's hardware in PS4 and XB1. Providing hardware for next-gen consoles was a strategic move for AMD.

Yep.

It will be an interesting few years for sure.

That reminds me, I need to get an R9...
