That's crazy!!

If it really happens, guess I'll have to start searching for a new board manufacturer. I won't buy a board from a company which has no support.

Same, I was looking into the RDX200 but if DFI-street is gone, there is no point.

Dfi-street is not owned by DFI,if DFI goes down it does NOT mean that the forum also goes.
But RG and HG are paid buy DFI for supporting you guys. Tech support
They are good people, and maybe the site is down because of maintenance,it happens.

DFI existed because of DFI-street. If DFI-street wasn't there, nobody would buy DFI's stuff because it was too damn complicated to get working.

And the whole issue of why DFI-street is closed is mainly because if HG is no longer going to be working there, he can't support a forum that gets that kind of traffic every month...And also that he can't be held responsible for DFI products because he doesn't work there anymore.

Wow... that's so not surprising. However, I'm still somewhat concerned about this new development. I honestly think that, without DFI-street, DFI boards are done for. This is coming from a DFI enthusiast who's loved every DFI board he's owned. (Actually the only boards I've ever loved.) I've had MSIs, ECSs and ASUSes and I've liked them all... except the F^&*ing ECSs and it pains me to see them self destruct like that. HG isn't bull****ting though, about the corporate snobbery. They don't even listen to the demographic they are selling to let alone 'the dumb Americans' (who may or may not be the same people).

Oi...

EDIT: As a regular at DFI-street I know that it's routine upkeep.

My Abit is pretty good, very underrated Except for the busted LAN port, oh well, I replaced it with a gigabit.
