DFI is in trouble. - Page 14

"I love the spirit of protests, but being angry at DFI for a spat between itself and an employee interested in jobs of his friends and himself, over yet another late product with "fans" who have steam kettle tempers, is par on course. This is just another repeat of this sorry soap opera, and it'll continue while folks keep buying the things they keep telling the world they hate in the first place."

Sorry, but your missing the proverbial boat on this one. DFI *may* be an "Eastern Airlines" (wow, you must be MY age, lol) in your book, but their sales have SOARED in the last few years, mainly due to the "enthusiast" market.

Certainly *some* of that can be attributed to forums like this one, Toms, Anandtech types etc, but without DFI-Streets support, to get these finicky monsters going, their sales would have slumped years ago....

I would kinda like to see where this goes...

you know how it ends up...the low guy on the totem pole gets cut to put more money in the top guys pocket....not a good..move anytime...

dfi-street has made the dfi purchasing influence in alot of people.... and thats what dfi needs to realize.... without the street the elitist will go elsewhere...

what good is a top dog without top dog support...

I say if you email...send them everyday...jst flood the their damn servers with email...that will get their attention....

we did that last year and they had to ask street members not to send more emails as they could NOT do normal business....I guess they didnt get the hint last year...

If they are that stupid they cannot see the impact YOU users have or the impact the street has they they deserve eveything they get....even if that answer is Abit...

i can't beleive this is happening the whole reason i started dealing with dfi was because of all the good things i had heard about dfi-street and the help to get them running, i'm relatively new to them but my brother swore by them, i guess not anymore. this is definately not going to help them.

Heh, Yeah, I'll probably wrap it around a tree once I get it running I did see dr_bowtie on here, and a few others. I wish I had saved all the 1000000 threads that I had'nt yet read @ the street to my hdd, I certainly would have, had I know this was coming...

I've been reading through this thread, and it seems as if the grim reality is dfi just no longer gives a crap. What a sad situation.. On a positve note, OC.net looks preaty promising as far as information goes
