Buying and modding a Mac Pro case for future build,Thoughts?

I had an idea which seems pretty funny, I'm considering for my next build buying a Mac Pro case like the one pictured,Modding the hell out of it.And having it powder coated. Most cases that i really like are in the 100-150 dollar price range.I found an Empty Mac Pro case on Ebay for 50 bucks+ shipping.

However it looks like it uses a laptop optical drive,I'm sure i would cut out most of the inside of the case. And i also doubt it has ATX mounting holes for the motherboard.I would probably also have to modify where the PSU mounts as well.

I am sure this has been done before,I should have searched the forum.I mainly like the look of the case,I also like its rigid aluminum construction,Plus i think it would look pretty bad ass powder coated black with a clear acrylic window in the side door. Do you think it's worth the hassle of modding one of these cases? Or would you guys consider this a waste of time? I'm sure it would piss of a lot of Apple fans,Which isn't my intention,But it would be pretty darn funny biggrin.gif

I'm sorry for posting this thread rolleyes.gif A quick search on the forum yielded a lot of "Hackintosh" builds.Sorry doh.gif But if anybody wants to chime in with their opinion feel free to.

Also,This rig would ONLY be using a windows OS,I have read not to mention "Hackintosh" I have absolutely no desire to use their OS.I can't stand it lol.Only thing Apple about this rig would be the Case.Everything else would be PC.
