Getting new monitors soon, at a toss up between 770 4gb SLI or single 780

Thread Starter
I'm planning on getting two VG248QE soon, use one for a primary and the other as a secondary and maybe use my Samsung 2253BW as a third display. No multi-display gaming here. I'm wondering if I should get a 780 or 770 4gb in sli. I want to maximize frames for the 144hz refresh rate on the VG248QE. What do you guys think?

As long as you are sure that you will not be multi monitor gaming or using 3d I would go with the 780. Sli 4gb 770 will cost close to $800 and of course you have to worry about the usual sli issues also. You can buy one of the best 780s' available, the EVGA 780 Classified for $549, and not have to deal with the sli issues. In most games I'm sure that you will be getting at least 100fps and you will save a good bit of money!
