But there should be some (wee)boooooing when people match "badly made" with made in China.
That was the exact case with Japan 50-60 years ago, and now...
Sorry to break your bubble, but pretty much everything gets made in China to some %.
Who dares to prove that something made in the US insures that it is made better? Or the UK? Or Germany?
Usually we compare apples with oranges when we do.
A cheaply made product, is cheaply made in either country, and many of the countries mentioned above are lately proven to be subpar. Better wages, or cleaner working environment help, but not guarantee a better product.
The fact that Chinese workers deserve much better than what they get, doesn't make a European, North American or Japanese worker or production facility de facto better.
Also, it is not "the Chinese" moguls cheating, the system and bending the rules alone: partners form west and east have been pressing them to do so, it is not their exclusive "vile, divisive and greedy nature": rules have are broken everywhere, the sad part is, most of the time by the same people.
There is a lot of discrimination and racism smoldering against China...and all stones are casted by sinners.Edited by pcfoo - 11/26/13 at 9:14am
