Upgrading from Klipsch to Energy CB-20?

Thread Starter
Bestbuy has the Energy CB-20 on sale for $185 a pair this week. It is a 50% off sale... I am interested in upgrading to these because of the close placement of the woofer and tweeter and I feel they are better suited for nearfiled listening.

The Energy's

The Klipches.

As you can see, the space between the tweeter/woofer on these two speakers is dramatic, especially when you are listening to them 1.5' away.

Do you think this is a worthy upgrade in terms of more bass, and/or just for the nearfield listening value?

The spec you want to be looking at is "off axis frequency response" if you can find it.
