Ok for those things you really don't need anything more than what you have. As far as processing power, only cpu intensive games like BF4 you would notice a little increase but nothing worth upgrading your "whole" system for. GPU is more important in that case. If i were you i'd just overclock to what's most stable and run with it.
When did you start having those problems, it could be many things. When my HDD (for storage, have OS on SSD) was dying i'd have those same type of symptoms, took out the Hard Drive and no more trouble. Look for errors on your SSD. Have you updated gpu drivers recently, correctly? If the problems started after you updated to new drivers, disinstall and revert back and see if that fixes the problem. Try and run memtest as well to make sure it's not the ram. It's usually a trial thing, could be a dying motherboard could be anything. Start ruling things out one by one.
