which 120hz gaming monitor below 300$ should I buy? Can you give a few examples?

Best two options in my opinion are the asus and BenQ

Asus - VG248QE - Link

BenQ - XL2420TE - Link

To my knowledge they both use the same panel. I personally own the Asus and have been very impressed, overall a great monitor.

I've had both 144hz monitors from above, really bad color and viewing angles, bad at everything except gaming. If you a hardcore fps junkie then it will be worth your money.

Surf, it surprises me that you were not impressed with them. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the Asus when i got it. Its a TN so of course viewing angles are not great, but color was much better than i thought it would be once i tuned it a bit. I guess it all depends on your point of reference though, the best "Color" monitor i have owned was 3 HP ZR24W's for Surround portrait. Other than those, i have only ever owned TN panels. One thing i can say though is that when i used lightboost the color quality was so bad that i stopped using it and have stuck with standard 144hz instead.

Never used the Eizo, so i cannot comment, though if your willing to wait a bit and save the Eizo Foris FG2421 has been getting a lot of attention. VA Panel and 120Hz.
