I have a ASRock Z87 Extreme 3 mobo and would like to understand adaptive mode and learn how to under-volt but i came across some annoying things.

With my i5 3670k, i wanted to try undervolting and setting a limit voltage but when i use adaptive mode, it totally ignores my set figures. Only override mode
seem to function properly. All my C states are also enabled so am i missing something obvious?

I like how override mode works but it does not downclock in voltage and multiplier (checked in power plan settings, set to balance).

With my mobo, i have 3 options. Adaptive, Override and Auto. Like with Ivry-Bridge, very simple to over/down clock and under/over volt, there doesn't seem to be an
adaptive offset mode like ivry-bridge.

Any help would be appreciated.
