Best option for 1440p? - Page 2

What kind of games do you play, and what kind of performance are you getting with the single 670? I'll be getting a 2560x1440 display for Christmas, and I'm also considering a GPU upgrade. I'm going to wait and see how my single 2GB HD6950 handles it though. I'm not playing very demanding games at the moment, mostly Final Fantasy XIV, Path of Exile, and Diablo III. I'm thinking that my HD6950 will do well enough for those games, and that I can hold off on upgrading until early next year.

Everyone is playing Battlefield 4 lately, but I skipped that because I'm waiting on Titanfall, which comes out in March. I suspect that I may want to upgrade my GPU if I'm going to run that at 2560x1400, but I have no way of knowing at the moment.tongue.gif

I would sell the GTX 670 for about 200$ and use that money on a used GTX 780 or r9 290 (with 290x bios) for about 400$
