[Calibration Retry Count] New HDD, Same Behavior

Thread Starter
Since I bought the laptop I had problems with the hard drive.
I checked with HD Tune and Calibration Retry Count appears to increase at a time. The old HDD that value arrived at ~ 2000, I changed the hard drive with a new one but it looks like this have the same problem. S.m.a.r.t value is increasing every day, starting from 0.
I think it's about a connection cable or power supply. I do not know what the hell. Any ideas?

You could start with trying out a different Sata cable, and a different Sata connection on your motherboard.
Then see if the problem is still there.

Ive heard people having problems with Smart value's of their HDD's that went away when switching the cable/port.
