Intel Turbo Throttling

Is there any software that can monitor CPU frequency? Overclocking my i5-750 and am using the x21 multiplier. In IBT or Prime it throttles to 20x but I can run FFXIV:ARR windowed and it doesn't throttle. Only issue is other games like War Thunder, that actually use alot of CPU, I can't run windowed. So I'm looking for something that will keep a record of CPU frequency.

I see there's some software for testing turbo throttling, but I cant find an active link. All are to a website that is dead.

A side question: If I run IBT or Prime and it throttles to 20x, but passes, would it be safe to assume the CPU at 21x is stable?

When I was overclocking an FX-6100 I had this exact problem. It ended up being unstable and needed a voltage increase. I'm not sure if that is what's happening here, but it's my best guess. If I were you I would try stability testing it for longer, and seeing if it produces any errors or crashes.

heres the odd thing though. Currently running it at 3717mhz with 21x multiplier. at 1.21v with droop in cpuz 1.15v. But when it throttles to 20x it drops the voltage to 1.13v.

idk why but this chip hates anything over 1.20v. In IBT its only hitting max 55c.
