been using norton for 3 years now and its been great, no problems, caught some serious threats, pick it up cheap every year on black friday the 3system bundle for ~$20 its been good to me (norton is no longer the resource hog they were ~10-12 years ago)

Bitdefender Free Antivirus if you're looking for a simple but functional antivirus.
It keeps files in quarantine until you decide what to do with them, and has a very little performance toll on gaming. thumb.gif

Free I would say avira if you want lightweight.
Norton is also good if you want a paid solution as it I can vouch on the resource usage.
