There are the results with 13.10

Funny they come up as "not approved"

why use 13.10? there is 13.11 WHQL and that should show Valid result. you really need to oc your cpu. my phenom as a quad oc'ed scores higher in physics. here is my phenom hex . . .

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7325735

that maxes out BF4 using 1080.

edit: check your temps. your physics score is abnormally low even for a stock 8300. is your mobo bios up-to-date?

better but still low. i suspect you have some power saving features enabled in bios and they are kicking in during load. consult the 8300 club i bet you they'll recommend turning off turbo. here is one oc'ed to about 4.5GHz . . .

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6914057

and use the latest whql - 13.11.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64

dl, run it to uninstall, reboot, and run it again to install. choose express for both.

13.11 WHQL is specially for the new Radeon R9 290-Cards. (Description: Supported Products: AMD Radeon™ R9 290 Series) At the moment AMD go two different driver-ways for Hawaii-GPU and all below R9 280. So you can (or maybe not) have some trouble in games with your 280 X and 13.11 WHQL. But try it out...

i use it for my 7770, 7950 and 7970 as well with no issues.

edit: let me verify.

my bad, i am using 13.11 Beta 9.2. that is from Beta 1, Beta 6 and now Beta 8. I'll switch to WHQL.

I use the same PSU as you and i have the same problem in Battlefield: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.
After doing a lot of research im starting to think it has to do with the PSU.
