Too bad it's way out of my budget. So 4570 seems like the safest choice. I'm also looking at this motherboard. Both the mother and the cpu comes at a total of 305$ with taxes and shipping included seems pretty damn good to me.

Yeah, both are about 50$ too much. I could always downgrade the CPU but I believe a more powerful CPU will be a bigger game changer than a high quality motherboard. I don't usually like going over 125$ for a motherboard.

its the cheapest motherboard i would call high end

But if you dont need or want a high end board then there is no reason to spend that much

I had to pay 545$ US for my Asus Rampage IV Exterme due to the danish price level

Think i am close to 10 times that much for my whole PC

Spent somewhere between 4500$ and 5500$ US

Newegg has FX-8320 for 129.99. I'm sure you could find a nice mobo, for around 150-170 to go along with the cpu. Under 300, not bad imo.

yup thats why i suggested it before, he could even get some good ram to go with it if he was willing to spend the extra, probably the same as what you would pay for an i5+mobo.

its a good deal when you look at Price:Performance. tongue.gif
