No I saw you point that out and yes his PSU is underspec, not enough amps on his 12V rail for any of those cards which will all require 42 at least.
You know an easier way to solve this is first decide if you can stretch the budget to a 290 (but I'd definitely advise waiting for a custom cooled model in a month or so) and if you can then buy it. If you can't see which does better out of a 280x and a 770 on the games you like to play and get whichever one has the biggest advantage (unless you have any reasons to go with either AMD or Nvidia for proprietary tech such as mantle or physx etc.). Also if you want more than a 2GB card but the 4GB 770's are a lot more then your answer is narrowed down to a 280x.
Also factor in you are going to have to buy a new PSU as a 450W with 33 amps on the 12v rail is not enough.
Also while we're here I'd like to ask opinions on whether my 2 year old 680W with 52A on the 12v rails would be enough to run a 290 and also have a CPU overclock as well as I may consider it a bit more if I knew I'd have enough power.Edited by smaudioz - 11/28/13 at 5:23am
