what is this lens?

ok, so i had a rentel house and this person lived there for almost 15 years. she moved recently and passed away. she left alot of stuff and told me i could have it all as they would not let her take it. so after i donated a lot of stuff and got rid of a ton of it i found something. i know it is a lens but thats all i know and would like more info. it has been sitting god knows how long brand new in the package. hear is the info i have off the box.

Starblitz
135mm
F2.8 Multi-Coated lens
for Minolta MD
made in japan
3 year warrenty card in the box.
FUJI KOEKI corporation.

anyone have any idea? google is not my friend today because i can not seem to find any info on it.

apears to be off namebrand minolta lens even if it doesnt look like this one. is my guess

Couldn't find much else on it, which would suggest its not spectacular or sought after, nothing on ebay either. I'd reckon its worth a couple bucks ~$20 or so knowing not much about it, could be worth a bit more.

hear is the pic's. this thing looks new and never used or anything. not even a scratch on the mounting ring..

In that condition you might be able to get $50 for it if you were to sell it.

Like most older lenses, I would imagine its great stopped down, grab the appropriate adapter, could use it on most digital cameras (likely full manual only tho).

On a native mount camera sure, put a adapter in there you generally lose that communication

you can have a chevy ls7 mounted to your camera and it still wont autofocus....theres no connection to autofocus on minolta sr mount. period.
