MSI GTX 670 OC Crashes

Thread Starter
Last month my GTX570 was RMA and I got a GTX670 replacement from MSI.

This is the model : MSI N670GTX-PM2D2GD5/OC

Did a wipe/driver install and it was fine for a week.
After a week, I keep getting random crashes.

Already updated to latest/revert to older drivers.
All of the settings is stock except for fan control.
Card is not passing 68 C.

Weird thing is that it crashes at random times.
I could be just in the menu of the a game and it crashes, other times it would be during game play.

The crashes would be the "Display have stop working" and kick me back to desktop.
Other times it would totally freeze up my machine and I have hit the power/reset switch.

Any idea whats going on?

Some cards with factory OC can be unstable. So get latest beta version of MSI Afterburner, and try to raise the core voltage with like +20 or so.
A fresh install of Windows can also solve many problems, and I always do this personally when I get new hardware.

Great
Thanks for the tips!

I tired raising core voltage, crashing still occurs.

Weird thing is that it crashes when its not on load.
I could be on a menu screen in a game and it would crash!!

Fresh window install would be my last resort thanks!
