FTR Nvidia cards also throttle when hitting 80 degrees which is going to be different depending on ambient temps and your case cooling so is that dodgy as well???
AMD cards and nvidia cards are allowed to be different. You can't crucify AMD for reviewers who either don't want to learn how to use AMD cards or are happy to play naive for nvidia's sake.
This is what I question in every review. One would think that these guys would know what they are doing, yet they seem to have only 10% of the knowledge I do. And I don't know everything.

To be clear, Unreal Engine is BY FAR the most used engine on the PC platform and AMD will not be getting Mantle functionality in it. That alone makes the statement "most AAA games" non factual, but then you also have the fact that there are only 4 specific game announcements including BF4, Thief, Star Citizen, and those 3 are due to be released next year. (Excepting BF4 which is due to get a patch in December). I have no freaking idea who oxide games is, and if I don't know them they probably don't matter.
Again, realistic. The statement that "most AAA games" are supporting Mantle is a complete fabrication. To be sure, BF4 was a big win for AMD in terms of Mantle support but I disagree with the statement that "most" AAA Games will support Mantle. It just isn't a true statement.
You do realize that Mantle is in the engine therefore any game on the engine can make use of Mantle.

Why should Nvidia fanboys want AMD to fail? I don't want the GPU market to be like the CPU market where Intel dominates.
But I'm tired of hearing about Mantle when we have seen nothing. I will be surprised if the BF4 mantle patch will impress.
And this comment is directed at you and Xoleras : And say Mantle gets 10-15% in BF4. How long do you think it will take for every developer to scream they want Mantle. The minimum is likely just 5% with Max at about 25%, and likely not gonna be the same across all games, depends on the utilization.

Really good point and standard for any scientific review.
