Please help me decide between Silverstone FT03 vs Lian Li PC-V360

I'm contemplating between the two.
The PC-V360 seems to me more modification friendly. I'm thinking of fitting a full size ATX board inside, which i don't think i can do optimally with the FT03.
Also reviews from silent PC did mention that the FT03 suffer from HDD vibration issue due to its orientation.

What's your 2 cents?

LOOK AT THE BOLD JMatzelle303

i own a lianli cases and ft03.

you will NOT fit a full at board inside ft03 even if you cut everything out of the inside.
that said, if i was going matx again i would happily purchase ft03 again its just plaininly the best matx case in my mind. dispite the fact that I love my lianli.. just the clean look of it with slot load drive to the vertically orriented motherboard to the drives on the backside and such make it amazing and it feels amazingly solid.

Hi NKrader,

I am really fond of the ft03's construction quality and innovative design.
My major concern is thermal issue if I decide to go with a fanless PSU because the PSU compartment does look a little tight for passive cooling.
How was your overall case temp and what fan configuration did you use?

I have the FT03 and love it. Actually now I have 2. The design and quality are great. The temps for me went up around 5C from the NZXT Phantom.

Cheers.

Hi AMC,

I'm curious as to whether you ran single or dual GPUs inside the FT03. I heard that cards with non-directional fans might suffer from heat issues compared to blower type cards. Which of the 2 did you use?

The case is designed for blower style GPU's. You will start getting heat trapped and re-used by the graphics card if you have a non-directional fan design. I am running 2 GTX 480's and they are a heat monster.
