I was planning on getting a EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti for a build that I am finalizing. It will be used on the ASUS PQ321Q 4K Monitor. I also render for a Graphic Design at Oregon University in my last year before I get my degree so I am also planning on getting an NVIDIA Quadro K4000. I know that these two cards will work together since they're NVIDIA but I have also seen the Radeon R9 290X. First, it cost $150 less, and the memory bandwidth is great. I was wondering if it would be possible to run an MSI Radeon R9 290X along with an NVIDIA Quadro K4000 or would I need to stay with the 780 Ti for complete combatibilty?
