The PSU sits in front of them but there's still 11 inches of clearance with a standard length PSU.
You are going to cool them just like you would in any other non-HAF like case - by cooling them.
You need an ATX motherboard because it has features that their m-ATX counterparts only offer at higher pricepoints - if at all.
We get that you don't like the case, and there's nothing wrong with it, everyone's got an opinion. But stop trying to make points on how bad of a case it is, because it's not. It's a small-sized midtower. Of course it won't have eleventy billion fans and holes on it. It's a Lian Li. Its clean looks will come before squeezing out one or two degrees.
