WatchOn app and Certification Error on Chrome with the Galaxy Note 3

So I was using the Watchon app last night to raise and lower the sound on the tv because I couldnt find the remote.. It actually is pretty handy.. However...

I get the icon on the top left of my phone where I get the notifications and it is also on the drop down menu of notifications and I can't for the life of me get it off.. It doesnt come up on task manager and I closed everything I go into the app and hit the back button as some times it closes the app and nothing.. I even turned the phone off and when I turn it on after a few minutes it right back up there..

How do I get this thing off my notification bar!

On another note last night I was browsing on Chrome (same sites I am on every day) and all of a sudden I get this certification warning. Its on a red background and said the certifications for the site I was viewing cant be find or changed and that said if I never saw this warning before from this site not to continue and its possible someone is interrupting or hacking my connection..It opened another site (bankofamerica) as it was one of the tabs open and refreshed it and got the same warning. I did manage to refresh an enjin.com forum and it loaded without a problem.. I think I was on my home wifi but thats password secure and the complex I live in.. Well no ones a rocket scientist.. I turned off the phone and it went away, but whats the all about??

Can anyone weigh in on these problems?

In WatchOn, press the menu button and go in parameters, and unclick the checkbox called "Show the remote in notification panel".

That's a pure french---> english translation so it might differ but you'll be able to remove the remote from the notification this way smile.gif

Enjoy your tablet biggrin.gif

Edit: As for the certification issue, make sure your tablet is set on the right date, right time and it should go away thumb.gif

Absolutely amazing! That did the trick!

Now with the certification problem.. Its not a tablet but a phone and I highly doubt it had the wrong date or time on there while I was getting the error.. I mean I had internet so I had service so I think I had the right info (date/time)...

Anyone else know anything about it..? I downloaded malware to see if there was anything on my phone, just because I make a lot of purchases on it.. I dont think it was compromised but you never know..

I would try to uninstall chrome and reinstall it first.

If it still occurs try with the default browser, see if it does the same thing.

Well it would bug me, I mean I got a 6Gb data plan and I use my phone a lot, I want to be able to access all the web pages I want so yeah, I would try those two steps see if it rule out the bug.
