Who am I?
I am a fingertip player (lenght of my hand is from middle finger top to beginning of wrist 20cm),
High sensi (360° turn takes 13cm)
playing since CounterStrike 0.7 (since 1999) and tried/bought a lot gaming mice in my life.

I bought this mouse and I like
the great shape
the glossy finish
the light weight

.... but what makes the mouse almost UN-USABLE is the lose (!) way the mouse wheel is built. It moves and does a noise when you move you mouse (even @ middle speed) and the tactile feel is awful (I am not alone with this according to AMAZON.us reviews).

I did not send it back - but I merged a Steelseries Diablo3 mouse that had a problem with the coating that peeled off. At the beginning I stuffed the space left of the wheel with a piece of paper. But still the feeling of using the wheel was still poor even though it does not wiggle and made any noise.

Merging these 2 - what you get is a white mouse with a black bottom - a black mouse wheel (from the old diablo3 mouse) and red LED and the white glossy coating. Works perfect.

So if you want this white mouse make sure the mouse wheel is not cheap crap.

I have the same issue with my mouse wheel, but it doesn't bother me too much. The first one I got had a broken mouse button, so I had to take it back to the store to get a new one. It's a shame the mouse wheel on the frost raw isn't so great because I really liked the one on the kinzu

it's not only on the frost raw, every version can have it.
steelseries has worst QC of all brands.
my first raw was perfect (switches, mousewheel) then i had to RMA it 3 times in a row till i got one with a better mousewheel (which is still not perfect compared to my first one)
i dont know maybe its like with the xai in the past, the first ones were build really awesome and then QC drops down ;D
