Tuniq Tower Case

Thread Starter
Soon I will be building a new computer to replace my current one. I have everything pretty much decided on except for the case. The motherboard I will be getting is the eVga 680i and the CPU cooler is the Tuniq Tower 120.

I've been doing a bit of research on the 15.5cm Tuniq Tower and learned that it requires at least 19cm of case clearance. Originally I was deadset on the CM Stacker 830, but with the side 4x120mm panel I'm not sure that the Tuniq tower will fit. Other cases that interest me are the Antec p180 and the Thermaltake Armor w/25cm sidepanel fan.

I know the 4x120mm panel can be removed from the stacker, but I'm not sure if the price is justified with the loss of side cooling. Through my research, I'm nearly positive that the Antec p180 and the Thermaltake Armor will accept the tower with my motherboard. The Armor will even accept the tower with the 25cm fan attached according to one source. http://www.bigbruin.com/2006/ttside_1

Which case should I get and why?

Also, If the stacker 830's side panel is removed, will cooling still be on par with the other cases?

lol i just posted almost the same post! 120mm fans are 120x120x25 - 25mm = 1 inch (a little less but you also have the bracket too).. 19cm was an example of the size of a normal full size case.. (these pictures wont align themselves next to one another but they are on tuniq's site. )

i think it should fit... the cm site says that the stacker 830 is 9.84in (W) (but not all available space for the inside.. most likely from edge to edge) ... i found the 830 was wider (according to the manufactor's website) than the armor extreme and ive read that guy on bigbruin mounted it in his armor extreme with a couple millimeters to spare
