Actually....you have no idea WHAT you're talking about...lol.

The xbox was a computer....last time I checked...it's been about 15+ years of practice for programmers to program on PCs....same with XBOX 360 basically...

ps2 with it's weird processor....
ps3 with it's even weirder processor...

Nobody wants to develop for Cell...nobody. It's not fun. It's hard.

the 360 stomps the ps3.

I'm not a fanboy, I'd have all 3 systems if it was worth it....but it's just not. ps3 is garbage so far.

I might get a 360 some time if I have some extra money, but meh...most of the good games come out for PC...or are coming...
Word. Not to mention all the bugs the PS3 has, and that the company backing it seems to have a cumulative IQ of 48.

I love the 360 controller. So much I got one for some games on my PC (not FPSs). But that's a matter of personal preference, and if you suck with the 360 controller, it may not be fun to you. I'd get the PS3 then.

A lot of the PS3 exclusive titles are coming out this year (that's to all of the people that says the PS3 sucks because it doesn't have any games). The PS3 got such a bad rep because it didn't have the best launch, both ways, amount of consoles and the launch titles.

Right now, I would recommend either a Wii or 360. Later on this year, I would go with the PS3. The PS3 has a lot of potential, but the power hasn't been "tapped" yet, as of now.

Look at the 360 when it first came out. It was overheating like no tomorrow. DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT! I said when it came out...now it's getting better. Most of you guys are Wii-whipped and 360-whipped. The PS3 is going to catch up...and dominate.

Well...a lot of the newer and popular titles out right now are FPS. Gears of War, Resistance, etc.

You'd be better of training yourself to like analog sticks, or just get a wii. Or upgrade your mobo and cpu.

You guys can talk about this endlessly, but through time ps3 is the true winner.

No no, you're absolutely right. The X360 had some serious and well publicized flaws early on. If people are going to complain about PS3 problems, it is only fair to compare them to the X360's launch problems.

Only time will tell, eventhe industry analysts are mixed. Frankly, I think the only hope the PS3 has is to cut its price drastically, which they cannot really do this early in its life. The X360 will almost certainly get a price drop this year, which will only make it more attractive than ever if the PS3 does not match.

Unless Blu-Ray somehow crushes HD-DVD and wins the format war. Then everyone will want a PS3 because it will be the cheap Blu-Ray player. But that's the exact reverse of the model Sony was trying to make happen: the PS3 was supposed to push into everyone's home based on the "Playstation" brand name, thus winning the format war for Sony because everyone would already have a Blu-Ray player.
