5870 for 100$ seems a little high considering 7850 ATI for 100$ :/ Really X3?

You would be right if it was a regular 5870 with 1GB with a stock cooler (I see them go for around 75-80$). Not the case here, it's the Eyefinity edition which is worth more than the regular one, and it also comes with an Accelero, which has a value by itself. Can't ignore the cooler's value.
Also, from what I see, 7850 sell close to 100$ only after rebates (their original prices vary from 140 to 180$)... You may receive those rebates after a long time, or... never.
Performance wise, yeah, not exactly worth 100$, agreed.

5870 - 80$ w/ cooler (it's still a 5000 series, regardless of the specific model. if the glue Arctic provides was used for the vrm and memory heatsinks (rather than aftermarket thermal tape), that accelero hybrid is not detachable)
Crosshair IV Formula - 90$ shipped.
1090T - 100$ shipped.
H70 w/ fans - 55$ shipped.
G.SKILL RAM - 35$ shipped.
Gateway Monitor - $30 pickup (not worth it to ship it)
Logitech Z4 - $40 pickup (not worth it to ship it)

2cents.gif

good luck
